strictures Posted March 23, 2015 Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 All morning today with this March snowstorm, I been seeing numerous 7900 series buses with unreadable destination signs, due to the glass being covered with snow. The sloping angle of the glass causes the snow to pile up on it. When I got a closer look, I saw that the glass covering the signs has a fused on ceramic defroster just for this purpose, but none of the drivers are turning them on. You'd think that someone in management would tell the drivers to turn on the defrosters. I don't know if they are on a timer & have an auto shutoff after so many minutes.
